M. Prada (PhD in Social Psychology, 2010) is an Assistant Professor with Habilitation at the Psychology Departament at Iscte-Instituto Universitário de Lisboa and the Director of LAPSO-Psychology Lab. She has extensive teaching and supervision experience, and has co)authored over 50 international papers. She regularly participates in scientific conferences (+ 100 oral presentations) and extension activities.
M. Prada has collaborated/led research projects with competitive funding (e.g., FCT, Fundação Bial, European Commission, Fundacion LaCaixa).
Her current research interests focus on food perception and choice, investigating the: a) contextual effects on food perception; b) determinants of adherence to plant-based and mediterranean diets; and c) individual and contextual determinants of sugar intake.
